- What is a Virtual Walkthrough Tour?
- A Virtual Walkthrough is a means of transporting your customers inside your product or location, allowing them to look around with a complete 360° x 360° perspective. It provides a uniquely informative and interactive experience, proven to convert potential customers into valued clients and encourage informed purchasing decisions.
- A Virtual Tour is comprised of a series of 360° x 360° views, linked together to take the customer on a “Walkthrough” of a location, or product. These 360° x 360° views are created using still photography, a fisheye lens (allowing 182°+ field of vision), post-production with editing and Macromedia programmes, and special software to fuse the still images together. The term “Virtual Tour” refers to the feeling the viewer has of being inside the location when experiencing the tour. It is also known as “Immersive Imagery”, as the viewer can take control of the image, or re-visit an area, with the sensation of being immersed in the subject of the picture.

- Interactive effects are then built in to the Walkthrough Tour. These enable the person viewing the tour to take control at any time, should they wish to re-visit a particular location, or look more closely at a feature.
- On completion of the final approved tour, we provide a simple piece of code to insert into your own website. This links direct to the tour which is hosted for your website on our dedicated host server - easy!
